Dirt Bike Adventure

Manual bikes off road all morning, and never on one kind of ground for long: forest, black lava fields, plantations and hill climbs, with Mount Batur behind you at every stop. Fifteen minutes of practice first: clutch, brake and balance, in a safe area. Then four to six hours of riding. How long depends on the group: your guide sets the pace, and it stays comfortable for a first-timer.

How the trip runs

1. On arrivalBike fitting and full gear, any time from 8:00 AM.
2. 15 minutesPractice in a safe area: clutch, brake and balance, until it feels natural.
3. ThenFour to six hours off road: forest, black lava fields, plantations and hill climbs. How far you get is set by how the group is riding.
4. Scenic stopsBreaks at the viewpoints, with the volcano behind you.
5. AfterBack to base to clean up, inside the 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM window.
